Supporting the Future of Electronics Manufacturing while Protecting the Legacy Left Behind

GDCA’s Tania Scroggie Joins Ken Briodagh on the Embedded Computing Design Podcast, Embedded Executive

GDCA’s Director of OEM Relations, Tania Scroggie, recently joined host and Editor-in-Chief Ken Briodagh on the Embedded Computing Design podcast, on their Embedded Executive LIVE series, to discuss the importance of legacy electronics sustainment. While attending the 2026 Embedded World North America conference in September, Tania was invited to sit down with Ken to explore the ideas, misconceptions, and goals surrounding legacy system sustainment for electronics.

Amidst the background of the conference, the two talked about the meaning behind GDCA’s name and how it relates to the company’s promise to our customers, the importance of managing critical system lifecycles, and the complexity and versatility of the strategies used to combat obsolescence challenges.

Together in this episode of “Embedded Executive LIVE,” Tania and Ken explored the idea of how companies such as GDCA support the future by protecting existing legacy systems for mission- and safety-critical applications, especially in a world that is constantly looking to the future.
