Custom Obsolescence Systems Services
Engineered Legacy Solutions (ELS) has been created as a response to requests from
customers to support their existing custom products. At present ELS is supporting
the refresh of Mil Spec electronics for obsolescent aircraft, obsolescent medical
and semiconductor equipment. ELS has full time engineering support to answer your
questions and assist you with making those decisions necessary to keeping your
obsolescent systems running.
Legacy Alternatives
ELS evaluates each customer’s application on a project basis in order to give the customer a clear understanding of cost alternatives.
Sourcing of Obsolete Components
This is a specialty of ELS. In general ELS not only locates the components but has the resources to assist in the manufacture and test of completed assemblies.
Component Validation
All components sourced by ELS will be certified. This is to ensure that the customer will be able to rely on those components to operate within the full operating range as specified by the original manufacturer.
Project Start-Up
ELS uses a standard project start up process that clearly defines how projects proceed. We make every effort to communicate all technical and project related information clearly to the customer.
Design
ELS has full technical capabilities to provide electrical and mechanical design. We have PCB design and layout capabilities. We also provide embedded design support.
