Design
Mechanical Design
Mechanical design is done using 3D computer aided design software. Part fabrication is performed using the output files of that software in automated machines. We design plastic injection molded parts. We also design machined, formed, cast, stamped, and extruded metal parts.
Electrical Design
A full engineering team is on hand to support the customers requirements. State-of-the-art engineering tools are used in the design process to lay out the required design and simulate operation. Digital, analog and RF resources are available.
Reverse Engineering of Circuit Boards
If circuit board films or digitized data is unavailable, a PCB may be reverse engineered from an existing board. CAD data can be recreated from an original board for bare PCB and ATE testing.
PCB Layout
ELS designs complex multi-layer printed circuit boards with controlled impedance, RF circuit boards and simple two layer boards.
Embedded Design
We use state-of-the-art design tools to develop new embedded products. Multiple chips can be designed for one PCB, simulated and then tested on the actual hardware into which it is to be programmed.
Test and Process Design
ELS provides full engineering support for Test and Process Control where original documentation or test fixtures are not available.
